JIRIBAM, August 4: All Jiribam Sport Association today organised the 2nd Thoudam Tejmani memorial mixed Kang tournament at Kalimai Mandop at 1 pm.
The Superintendent of the Youth Affairs and Sports Department, M Tilok Singh inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest and M Brajakanta Singh, the president of All Jiribam Sport Association presided over the inaugural function.
In the opening match, YLC (A), Dibong Khunou defeated KYC (A), Kalinagar 12-8. KYC (A) won the toss and selected a side, it said.
A total of seven teams are taking part in the tournament. The participating teams are as follows: MNC Ningthembam; Yaipha Lamjing Club (A), Dibong Khunou; Yaipha Lamjing Club (A), Dibong Khunou; KYC (A), Kalinagar; KYC (B), Kalinagar; Echel Club, Dibong and SAYC, Sorok Atingbi, it said.
YLC (B), Dibong Khunou will play SAYC, Sorok Atingbi tomorrow.
