IMPHAL, August 18: The 125th birth anniversary cum recitation competition of Laininghan Naoria Phulo’s poetry will be held from August 26-27 at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace compound.
The Laininghal Naoria Phulo Charitable Trust (LNPCT) made the announcement today at a press meet at SDJM Higher Secondary School, Kangabam Leikai.
Speaking to the media, LNPCT spokesperson Ningthoukhongjam Chaoba has appealed not to call any bandh or blockade on the said days.
He also informed that any student studying in class III to XII can participate in the recitation programme. Forms are available at LNPCT office at Soibam Leikai Wangkhei Khunou; Apokpa Marup Shanglen at Akampat and All Manipur Private School Teacher’s Association office at Uripok.
