IMPHAL, August 10: Inner Manipur MP Dr Thokchom Meinya has congratulated World Cup Bronze winner Indian Junior Women Hockey team`s captain Pukhrambam Sushila Chanu and her team.
“It is really heartening knowing that Manipur has four players namely Th Pinky Devi (Defender), P Sushila Chanu (Midfielder/Captain), Lily Chanu Mayengbam (Forward) and Ningombam Sanarik Chanu (Goalkeeper) in the National team, which bagged the bronze medal. Congratulations to all of you, the worthy daughters of Manipur,” it added.
