MPCC remembers Congress Seva Dal movement founder Dr NS Hardikar

    IMPHAL, August 26: The Manipur Pradesh Congress Seva Dal today observed the 38th death anniversary of Dr NS Hardikar founder of Congress Seva Dal movement at Congress Bhawan.

    State Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam who is also the president of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) led the gathering in paying floral tribute to a portrait of Dr NS Hardikar.

    Ministers, MPs, MLAs, party leaders, frontal and cell chiefs attended the function.

    Addressing media persons after the observation, Deputy Chief Minister, Gaikhangam recalled the yeoman services rendered by Bharath Seva Dal since its inception in 1923.

    He is the founder of the Bharath Seva Dal works under the aegis of Mahatama Gandhi who is against the social evil and works for the up-liftmen of the society, he said and Deputy Chief Minister also called upon the public to imbibe the noble ideals advocated by late Hardikar movement.
