IMPHAL, August 22: The Manipur MBBS/BDS 2013 Entrance Examination Parents/Guardians Association, Keisampat today in a press release has questioned how counselling for admission to medical courses are being conducted without the state selection list.
The press release said that the career of the medical aspirants who had devoted all their time and energy will be ruined as the government of Manipur has decided to select Manipur nominees from the NEET list and further urged the government to own its consequential responsibility, it said and added that the NEET had already been quashed by Supreme Court on July 18, 2013.
The state selection list was to be prepared and sent by the MCI, however fearing possible contempt of court, the MCI is yet to send the list, it claimed.
The press release further said that fixation of time schedule for admission counselling could not be possible without a selection list.
