IMPHAL, August 19: A joint meeting of Wangkhei Meira Paibi, Young Voluntary Org (YVO), Paradise Club, Wangkheimayum Leirak Apunba Committee (WLAC), Naharol Sintha Kanglup (NSK), Thangapat Mapal Chaokhat Khongthang Nupi Lup (TMCKNL), X-Fitness Wangkhei, Wangkhei Nongpok Women Association (WNWA) and Nongpok Leingak Nupi Lup, Wangkhei Meihoupham held on July 21 has resolved certain points regarding drug menace along with forming of a apex group, said a press release of Apunba Lup Nisha Thingba, Wangkhei.
The points are to impose fine of Rs 5000 to vehicles caught while carrying drugs within the Yairipok Road, Wangkhei and to take up strict action against those found using and selling drugs within the area where the individual should owe any untoward incident arising thereof, it added.
