IMPHAL, August 19: A statement of the media advisor, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences has said that RIMS is making preparations for the celebration of its 42nd foundation day on September 14, 2013.
Faculties, staff and students of medical, Dental and Nursing institutes are involved in the preparations, it said before adding, “It is likely that the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Gulam Navi Azad will grace the function as the chief guest”.
“Prizes will be distributed to the outstanding students who have carved a niche in their academic affairs. The RIMS campus is also spruced up for the occasion. A number of publications including a multi-coloured souvenir will be brought out on the foundation day which will be held in the Jubilee hall”, it said.
