BISHNUPUR, Aug 24: The Bishnupur district administration along with Bishnupur district Indian Red Cross Society and Divisional Forest Officer, Bishnupur jointly planted saplings at the Mini Secretariat Complex of Bishnupur district today.
During the function, the local variety of fruit bearing trees such as Karpoor, Chorphon, Mayokpha, Heigri, Theibong (Jackfruit), Manahi and also flower bearing trees such as Leihao and Gulmohor etc numbering around 200 were planted.
The police personnel of the district, VDF personnel, volunteers of Red Cross, staffs of the DC and DFO also participated in the program.
