JIRIBAM, August 12: A student of RK Sanatombi Devi Vidyalaya Jiribam died after drowning. The student was identified as Jaffer Ahemaed (14) son of Itosana Hazir of Patchao Chingdong Leikain, Jiribam.
It was said that Jaffer left his home at around 5 pm on August 11 for finding a cow. The family members told that Jaffer had not returned home for some time, they went searching and later found him drowned in a pond.
