IMPHAL, August 13: The Sana Konung Semgat Lup today said in a press release announcing the meeting resolution on the issue of taking over Sana Konung of Manipur government. The said meeting was held on August 10, 2013 at 11 am till 4 pm.
The resolutions as per the release says the government should renovate Sana Konung without taking over it; the letter of July 26, 2013 sent by Art & Culture was rejected and reply in this regard will be sent soon; renovation of Sana Konung will be taken in consultation with experts; Renovation of Sana Konung should not allowed under Monument Act and the king should not be gave Sana Konung in any condition; the right to renovate Sana Konung has entrusted to Sana Konung Semgat Lup and that the people of Manipur will unitedly resist the government stance on Sana Konung.
