IMPHAL, August 6: The Manipur Thang Ta and Cultural Association has today lauded and expressed happiness in a press release on the selection of its Thang Ta artiste G Bisheshwor Sharma for the Young Talent Award 2011 which is awarded to those artistes who are under the age of 35 years by Manipur State Kala Akademy.
The press release further said that G Bisheshwor Sharma is the son of the Thang Ta renown Guru Padmashri G Gourkishor Sharma and further adding that Bisheshwor Sharma have visited different places of India and abroad where he demonstrated Thang Ta and also delivered lectures on Thang Ta, it said.
