IMPHAL, August 24 (NNN): The Thadou Students’ Association, Imphal (TSA-I) today thanked Principal of Modern College, Imphal Dr K Biren Singh for permitting tribal students of the Thadou community to opt for Thadou-Kuki as an MIL subject up to graduate level in the college from the academic session 2013-14.
Earlier on August 22, the Thadou Students Association (TSA) had expressed its gratitude to Dr A Nungshitombi Devi , the Principal of DM College for aggreeing to have Thadou Kuki as MIL subject for the graduate level (Art stream) in the college.
The TSA hopes that the Principal will continue with her effort to promote the minority people`s interest in future.
According to TSA, they had also aproached Modern College and T.G Higher Secondary School, Imphal to have the Thadou Kuki as an MIL subject.
