IMPHAL, September 26: In an unfortunate incident, a 65-year-old man died following an altercation with a local youth. The youth involved in the incident has reportedly been arrested.
The altercation broke out between Chingtham Gambhir Singh (65) of Tekcham Leikai and Maibam Abom (25) son of M Chaoba of the same locality when the former asked the youth not to burst fire crackers.
The incident occurred at Tekcham Mayai Leikai under Kakching PS on September 25 around 7.45pm.
