IMPHAL, Sept 14: An official notification has said that the Sub Divisional Magistrate of Wangoi, Imphal West district in exercise of the power conferred under sub section 2 of section 144 Cr PC has prohibited assembly of five or more persons which is likely to turn unlawful in the area and also prohibit carrying of sticks, stones, firearms and weapons of any other description or objects which can be used as offensive weapons within the said area from 4 pm of September 10, 2013 until further orders.
The order further described the scheduled area as, East: by the homestead land of Lilong Chajing Mamang Leikai; West: by the homestead land of Lilong Chajing Awang Leikai; North: Paddy field; South: Cricket ground.
