IMPHAL, Sept 15: The newly developed picnic area at Andro has been reported to be vandalized. According to sources, due to a disagreement among the villagers of Andro, the works which are taken up presently at the said area to accommodate the upcoming Sangai festival has been vandalized and burnt.
Irate villagers are said to have burnt the bamboo structures and the shops presently constructed at the picnic area this evening. Sources have not been able to confirm the reason behind the rampage of the villagers.
