IMPHAL, Sept 15: Parliamentary secretary of the Department of Minor Irrigation and Information & Public Relation, K Meghachandra Singh today said in a press release announcing an official appeal to the All Manipur Minor Irrigation Department Employees’ Association that the due pay for some months has been released under the instruction of the Chief minister of Manipur.
Along with this, the Chief Minister of Manipur has given approval to release the due pay for four months and also instructed the concern authority to prepare MGEL for the work charged and muster roll employees of the department so as to find an everlasting solution.
Saying with this, the press release appealed to the employees of the association to call off the cease work strike in the view of the impending present condition of the farmers.
