IMPHAL, September 18: The Co-ordination Committee (CorCom) comprising the KCP, KYKL, PREPAK, PREPAK (Pro), RPF & UNLF has said in a press release that the CorCom is not involved in the September 13, Khoyathong bomb blast which killed nine construction workers and left many others injured.

The statement made available to the media today has further claimed that the CorCOm had earlier set a deadline for all non-locals to leave Manipur by December 31, 2012 and said that its resolution demanding the non-locals to leave Manipur is still very much present, it added.

The statement further continued that the non-stop influx of  migrants into Manipur has left the indigenous people apprehensive and threatened over their existence.

There might also be certain individuals or groups who feel the need to use violence in order to save the indigenous population, it said. There is no denying that the bomb could have been placed by any individual, organization or even by SF and blamed the outfits, the statement claimed.
