IMPHAL, Sept 22: As per a press release from the PRO, IGAR (S) troops of 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) apprehended an individual who was suspiciously moving towards Pangal Basti on 22 Sep 2013. The apprehendee was identified as Wahidur Rahman aged (31), son of Late Abu Bubakar and a resident of Moreh Ward No 5, PO/PS Moreh, Dist Chandel. One Chinese Hand Grenade was recovered from the apprehendee who alongwith recovered items was handed over to Imphal Police Station according to the release.
