JIRIBAM, September 6: A joint meeting held at the office of Apunba Jiribam Meira Paibee (AJMP) presided by O Mangi Meetei, president Jana Neta Irawat Memorial Trust (JIMET) has decided to observe the 65th Death Anniv and 117th Birth Anniv of Jana Neta Irawat widely in Jiribam sub-division with organising various cultural programmes and competition.
During the meeting, various sub-committees were also formed to facilitate the observation programme. The main programmes which is going to be held for the current year are march past competition, cultural troupe and marathon race (men & women).
The JIMET further appealed to submit song, short story and patriotic song & story based on Irawat for publishing a souvenir which is going to be published in connection with the observance programme.
