IMPHAL, September 15: The proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (Military Council) Nongdrenkhomkba group has stated that it has formed an investigation team after by its central committee in connection with the arrest of Laishram Gunamani alias Guru alias Priyokumar, Chief of army KCP-MC Nongdrenkhomkba group who was reportedly arrested by a combined team of police while serving an extortion note at Heikkruthong, Kongba Bazar on September 10 around 7.30 pm.
In a statement, the party said the investigation team would investigate on the charges made on Gunamani at the earliest and said that if the allegation is true then he would be punished in accordance with the guideline of the outfit.
