IMPHAL, September 20: Students of the Manipur Institute of Technology, Takyelpat continued their protest demanding replacement of the Principal of the institute today by taking out a protest rally today.
The students took out the protest rally under the banner “Replace the corrupted Principal of the MIT”.
The student protestors held placards reading, “We want positive response”, “We need change”, “We want proper infrastructure, “We want to become good engineers”, and “We protest against the corrupted principal”.
The students took out the protest rally starting from the Takyel towards Imphal.
Later, the students were stopped by a team of police at Wahengbam Leikai and forced to return back.
