IMPHAL, Sept 18: The department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution organized mobile sale of rice at Singjamei chingamathak, Khurai Telipati, Lamlong Bazar, Hatta Golapati and Nagamapal today.
The department will conduct sales on Thursday at Naoremthong, Meitei Mayek High School at Kongba, Mantripukhri, Samumakhong and Hatta Golapati.
Rice will be distributed at the rate of Rs 10 per kilogram and entitlement upto 10 kilograms per individual, according to a notification by the director of the department,Yaiskul Meitei.
Meanwhile, Rice meant for PDS were distributed to the residents of Moreh ward number 9 at the residence of Thangkholun Haokip, chairman of the Rationing Agent Association.
