JIRIBAM, September 21: Under the supervision of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (CAF & PD) Department Jiribam, rice at subsidized rate was distributed to people at Gularthon Bazar, Lamkhai, Lakhipur, in front of Treasury Office and Dibong club in Jiribam today.
The CAF & PD Dept and APL rice was distributed 10 kg per person at Rs 10 per kg.
ADC Jiribam Y Iboyaima Singh said the same mobile sale of rice will also be conducted tomorrow at Lalpani Bazar, Dilbong Karong, Jiri Keithel, Kalinagar and Uchathol in Jiribam sub-division.
