IMPHAL, Sept 18: On September 18, 2013 at about 1:20 pm based on a specific information, a team of NAB Police Station led by Inspector RK Bikramjit Singh, officer-in-charge of Narcotics & Affairs of Border (NAB) under the supervision of S Gautam Sinqh, Superintendent of Police/NAB has arrested one Md Ali, 22 son of Md Ayab Ali of Keirang Tera Makhong PO & PS Heingang, Imphal East along with three grams of heroin powder at Heingsngkhong (Pangei Line) which is meant for sale at Khabeisoi Area, said a press note of NAB SP.
Again, in another incident on the same day at around 3:00 pm, another team of NAB arrested one Konsam Raju Singh, 30 son of (L) K Rajen Singh of Sega Road Takhellambam Leikai, lmphal West along with 118 numbers of Spasmo Proxyvon capsules while trying to sell it to the local youths.
Both the arrested persons along with the seized items were brought to NAB Police Station by observing all necessary formalities. Different FIR cases have been taken up against the arrested persons for further investigations, it said.
