BISHNUPUR, September 17: A day-long awareness programme on National Environment Awareness Campaign under the theme ‘’Bio-Diversity Conservation’’ was organised by Chaokhat Khongthang Lup, Wangoo in collaboration with Dept of Environment, Government of Manipur today at Ithai Khunou Govt High School.
The program was attended by Kh Saratchandra, Headmaster of the school as chief guest; H Tomba, Headmaster of Nongmaikhong Jr High School as president and L Jamor, Asst Sr lecturer of the school as guest of honour.
N Shantakumar, National Youth Awardee and K Jugeshwor, Principal Kumbi College spoke as resource persons and around 65 participants from different villages and local youth organisations participated in the programme.
