IMPHAL, September 14: Manipur Central Jail, Sajiwa, today conducted a prison smart course, on `Art of Living` for inmates.
Speaking to media persons on the objective of organising smart course, IK Muivah, Jail SP, disclosed that it would help the inmates to reform themselves by keeping them occupied in various fields.
He informed that noted local singer Naba Volcano, Ningthoujam Nabachandra former director song and division, Ministry of Information and broadcasting Government of India, will give lessons to the inmates in music, fine arts etc.
The SP also disclosed that as a part of the welfare program of the inmates, altogether 123 inmates were treated for skin diseases.
