IMPHAL, Sept 13: The Staff of RIMS today held a condolence meeting on the untimely demise of Prof K Saratchandra of the Pharmacology department who expired yesterday, said a press statement issued by media advisor of RIMS. Prof Saratchandra is survived by his wife and a five years old daughter.
A number of doctors gave obituary reference during the solemn occasion, it said. Director Prof S. Sekharjit said that the taciturn Prof Saratchandra was a man of integrity who was devoted to his work. The Director also sent a condolence letter to the bereaved family. Those who assembled there observed two minutes` silence for the reposes of the departed soul, it said.
