IMPHAL, Sept 24: A driver of a bamboo loaded Tata truck died after his truck fell down into a 400 meter deep gorge at K Senam village under Sapermeina Police Station Senapati district along the National Highway Number 37 today at around 11.30 am.
The dead body of the driver has been deposited at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences morgue for post mortem today.
According to the police, the bamboo laden Tata Truck bearing registration nnumber MN-05C/0210 fell down into the 400 meter gorge while coming towards Imphal from Noney.
