IMPHAL, Sept 20: Acting on a specific information, a team of NAB Police Station under the supervision of S Gautam Singh, Superintendent of Police/NAB has arrested two persons namely Md Asnam Khan (23), son of Md Rashid and Md Samsurruddin (32), son of Md Jahiruddin alias Tomba both residents of Kshetrigao Awang Leikai under Porompat Police Station in Imphal East District along with 10 kgs of contraband Ganja wrapped carefully in a plastic polythene carry bag along the National Highway 2 in front of Lifeline Hotel, Awang Sekmai under Sekmai PS, said a press release of SP Narcotics & Affairs of Border, Manipur.
Both the arrested persons along with the seized Ganja have been brought to NAB Police Station by observing all necessary formalities and a regular FIR case has been taken up against them for further investigation, the statement added.
