IMPHAL, September 20: The United Revolutionary Front (URF) has today in a press statement clarified that the URF (Pro talk) group was not involved in the September 13 blast at Khoyathong which killed nine labourers.

It went on to add that ever since the outfit had joined the peace process, it has always tried to survive on its own and has never wronged anyone.

The statement continued that instead of welcoming the cadres of the armed outfits who have laid down their arms and trying to blend in with the society as before, they are treated with contempt and regarded as cowards which has led to the URF thinking that the people of Manipur has still hidden feelings for the land.

The outfit has further ridiculed those outfits that consider talking against SoO and surrendered outfits as their party policy instead of discoursing on how not to present the conflict between India and Manipur wrongly before the outside world and whether the success of an armed revolution is just unfurling a freedom flag.

It has also appealed to all concerned not to harass the cadres of the outfit.
