IMPHAL, Oct 3: Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam who is also the president of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee has approved the joining of Gopen Thongram of Chanam Shandrok, who contested the 10th General Election 2012 from 6-Keirao Assembly Constituency as a candidate of Trinamool Congress into the Indian National Congress with immediate effect, said a press release of MPCC.
