CM leaves for Delhi

    IMPHAL, Oct 14: Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh left Imphal for the national capital this morning to seek help from the different ministry in relation with certain impending projects in the state.

    During his visit, the Chief Minister will meet officials of the railway ministry to brief on the progress of the Imphal-Jiribam railway project and further seek funds for completing the project.

    It said that the Chief Minister will also pressure the Union government to establish FCI godowns with large capacities to ensure the smooth implementation of the National Food Security Act, pass port office in Manipur and to execute the construction work of the Trans-Asian Highway.
