IMPHAL , Oct.3: A press release signed by Nonglen Meitei, secretary publicity and propaganda, Maoist Communist Party Manipur today claimed that a combined team of Indian Army and Manipur Police Commando have arrested Sairem Bobo alias Sanathoi alias Tomthin Nganba who was holding the post of finance secretary from his hideout during the night of October 1. The release further stated that henceforth, the party have ceased all financial activities and will not be responsible for any dealings in the name of the above mentioned person and all matters relating to finance will be dealt directly by Taibanglen, chairman of the proscribed group for the time being.
The release also warned the public to be wary of any possible attempt to extort or make financial demands in the name of Bobo.
