IMPHAL, October 12: A one day free cataract detection camp in collaboration with Lion Club of Leimarol Imphal and Shija Hospital cum Research Centre, Imphal and Social Workers’ Club Heirangoithong at Heirangoithong community Hall today.
Dr. Sachindra Laishram, Ophthalmologist, Imphal and Dr Noronika Kh, Opthalmologist of Shija Hospital, Imphal conducted the camp.
Of the 180 patients checked, 28 were found to have cataract problems.
All 28 will be operated upon during a free operation camp on October 15 and 22.
