IMPHAL, October 23: The Lamkang Naga Kver Kunpun (LNKK) Chandel in a press statement has condemned the IED bomb plant at Thamlapokpi village boundary in Chandel district which was retrieved and later safely exploded by 26 Assam Rifles on October 22 around 2 pm.
The statement then appealed to organizations not to repeat such act in the future looking after hardships of civilians.
Meanwhile, the Thamlapokpi Village Authority, Chandel Block said it along with the public of the surrounding villages strongly condemned the incident of IED plant near Thamlapokpi village on October 22 which could have brought enmity to the society.
In a statement, the village authority appealed to the various UGs and organizations of the state not to repeat such thing in the area and further appreciated the 20 AR for timely diffusing the IED which could create destruction to the general public specially villagers residing along the National Highway.
