IMPHAL, Oct 19: A motorist was killed in a road mishap late last night near Awang Wabagai under Sekmai Police station.
The deceased has been identified as Langpoklakpam Boyai, 22, son of L Kuber Singh of Awang Leikinthabi Awang Leikai
Police sources informed that the incident occurred around 10.30 pm when Boyai who was on motorcycle collided with another motorcycle with two pillion riders along Koirengei to Sekmai route near Awang Wabagai. They were rushed to RIMS. However, Boyai was declared brought dead while the three were also hospitalised. The body has been deposited at RIMS morgue, and a case has been registered with the police, the source added.
