IMPHAL, October 13: The 15th Foundation Day of Manipuri Students’ Federation, MSF was held at Konjeng Hazari Leikai Community Hall, Tiddim Road, Imphal today morning.
P Dhanakumar Singh, Chairman Board of Secondary Education Manipur, as a chief guest, Longjam Umakanta Meitei president of Manipur Students’ Fedration as president and Solomon Zingkhai, Joint Director Tribal Research Institute, Imphal and Maibam Dhanabir Meetei Executive Editor Imphal Free Press as the guest of honour of the function.
P Dhanakumar Singh said there is no peace in the state, which could be attributed to the political mismanagement which can be witnessed in the state.
There is no communal harmony in the state, he said.
Maibam Dhanabir Meetei said that the civil organizations in the state should create awareness on the use of “None of the above” option while voting which has been recently introduced.
Elaborating on the role of the students, he appealed to the students to respect their students.
