PANDAM alleges woman of duping people with job promises

    IMPHAL, October 10: A group of eleven individuals today claimed at the People’s Action for National Democratic Movement (PANDAM) office that they have been duped of a total amount of Rs 19,94,000 in promise of jobs at RIMS, JNIMS, Police Department and Education (s) by RK Indramanisana (71), wife of (L) Maisnam Komol Singh of Lamboi Khongnangkong, Uripok Kangchup road.

    Secretary, PANDAM, Irengbam Dolen alledged during a press conference that not Indramanisana has not only duped people with promises of jobs but she had even taken a sum of Rs 7,23,000 from a student for MBBS admission at Chandigarh.

    He further appealed to the concerned authorities to clarify on the issue.

    According to one of the alleged victims who identified himself as Elangbam Ratankumar Singh of Oinam Sawombung, Indramanisana had taken an amount of Rs 1,20,000 from him on November 15, 1999 with promise of a job in the Education (s).

    Another alleged victim, Irom Somendro Singh from Khongampat said the woman took Rs 1,00,000 on April 2013 with the promise of a job in the police department.
