IMPHAL, Oct 5: Based on specific intelligence, troops of 9 AR of 26 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR (s) launched an operation in general area of Govajang village in Chandel district on October 4, conveyed a press release of the PRO of HQ IGAR (South)
During the operation, one PLA cadre was nabbed, identified as Yenjenbam Somorendro (23), son of Nilachand of Nilakuthi village, PO/PS Kaml Ganj in the district of Malubi Bazaar, Banugas of Bangladesh, it said.
One 9 mm pistol with magazine and five live rounds were recovered from him, the statement said adding that the arrested PLA was handed over to Imphal Police Station.
