IMPHAL, Oct 6: The principal of the Lilong Haoreibi College, MD Khallilur Rahman stated that he will file a defamation case against the All Manipur Muslim Students Organization (AMMSO) on the allegations levelled against him.
Addressing media persons at the Manipur Press Club, he said he will accept any punishment meted to him in case they are able to prove the allegations against him.
Khallilur Rahman further appealed to the concerned department to look into the issue and urged outside students not to interfere and level baseless allegation without proper knowledge of the college.
Finance secretary, Lilong Haoreibi College, Ajmad Khan demanded that AMMSO should clarify on the allegation at the earliest.
He continued that after the appointment of the present principal, the college has witnessed infrastructural development and have acted out for the welfare of the students.
