IMPHAL, October 13: A three-day long training program on Youth Leadership and Community Development organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Chandel under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India with the objective to impart qualities of good leadership and life skill education to youths concluded today at V. M. High School, H. Wajang Village in Chandel District.
On the concluding day, Ch. Basanta, DPO Nehru Yuva Kendra Thoubal; Rakesh Singh and W. Rita Devi, Academic Counselors IGNOU D.M. College Imphal spoke as the resource persons on the topics of Concept and Qualities of Leadership, Life Skill Education and Concept and Process of Community Development respectively.
The program was also attended by W. Ibohal Singh, District Youth Coordinator NYK Chandel and Tm. Holkhokhai Haokip, Chief of H. Wajang Village and certificates were distributed to around 60 youths from different communities of Chandel District who participated in the training program.
