IMPHAL, October 15: Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs) of thirteen sub-divisions have been designated with additional charged of BDOs giving full responsibility of planning, implementation and monitoring of the rural development schemes and programmes of their respective blocks.
In Bisnupur district the SDOs of Bishnupur, Moirang, Keirao Bitra and Sawombung have been given the charge of BDO Bishnupur CD Block and BDO Moirang Block.
In Imphal East district, the SDO of Keirao Bitra has been given the charge of and BDO Keirao CD Block while SDO Sawombung with BDO Imphal East-I CD block and BDO Imphal East-II CD Block.
SDO Lamsang and SDO Wangoi have been given the charged of BDO, Imphal West-I CD Block and BDO, Imphal West-II CB Block. SDO Thoubal has been given the charge of BDO-Thoubal CD Block and SDO Kakching with BDO Kakching CD Block.
In Ukhrul district, the SDO Ukhrul has been given the charge of BDO Lunchong Maiphei TD Block.
At the same time, SDO Churachandpu has been given dual charge of BDO Tuibong TD Block and BDO Saikot TD Block while SDO Henglep, Singhat and Parbung have been given the additional charge of BDO Sammulamlan TD Block, BDO, Sangaikot TD Block and BDO Vangai TD Block respectively.
