LAMKA, October 12: The General Headquarters of the Siamsinpawlpi (SSPP), the Paite Student Organisation, today, organized Siamsimpawlpi Flag Day at YPA Hall New Lamka.
Attended by members of the organization and its leaders, the day witnessed activities like traditional dance perform by students.
Speaking on the occasion, standing committee vice-chairman V Zamkhanmang elaborated on the importance of having “aim and objective” in order to succeed, he said “To get the desired result we have to sacrifice some”.
He told the gathering students to “reach out for the stars`.
The chairman of the SSPP School Managing Committee V Siamnunlian said that the SSPP Residential School, which is entirely run by the Organization and set up in 1998 has developed by leaps and bounds in terms of helping people who are poor and underprivileged.
During the Flag Day program, S Lamkhankhual was declared as the new president.
