IMPHAL, Oct 5: The United Committee Manipur (UCM) today led a tarpon offering function to the June 18 martyrs on the last day of the “Langban Heitha-Leithaba” (Tarpon) at Kekrupat today.
Today’s function was organized jointly by several organisations including the All Manipur United Club Organisation, Ethno Heritage Council and family members of those who died during the June 18 uprising. The function witnessed a wide participation from people of both hills and valley districts of the state.
