LAMKA, October 21: To boost the ongoing preparation for the 3rd World Zomi Convention to be held on October 25 at Hiangtam Lamka Public ground, the social media department of the convention today inaugurated a Media Center at Paite Tribe Council (PTC) Building at Hiangtam Lamka, Ccpur.
Rev Ross Fimate general secy of RPC, NEI inaugurated and dedicated the media center this morning.
A host of dignitaries of the proposed convention like ZC chairman LB Sona spoke on the occasion which was also attended by K Guite advisor of ZRO.
LB Sona on the occasion said that during the Convention pastor/ religious leaders from the people who accepted Zomi as a common nomenclature will conduct a mass prayer, for the unification of ZO people.
The host of the occasion also said that social networking site like Facebook and others will be fed ‘live’ of the convention and every one can watch/follow the convention through the internet and you-tube.
