Imphal east district police invite local women leaders for Ningol Chakouba

IMPHAL, November 3: The Imphal East district police organized a Ningol Chak kouba event at the Head Quarter of Superintendent of Police, Porompat with various women leaders of the district to enhance good relation between public and police.

Women belonging to various associations and organizations of Imphal East district were present at the occasion. Blessings and well-wishes were exchanged and the thread of brotherly love between police and women folks were promoted.

The police organized the Ningol Chakouba event to express that police is also a human being and has a heart to love their sisters and mothers, but deterioration happens in the relationship during the process of maintaining peace and harmony in the state.

At the solemn occasion of Ningol Chak Kouba, SP of Impha East District Angam Kamei Romanus said that the well wishes and blessings from the sisters and mothers of the District, the police department has organized Ningol Chak Kouba with grand success.

The grand feast, a small token of love, can bring peace and harmony in the relation between public and police, SP said and added that with the help of the womenfolks of the district, the police department can maintain peace, non-violence in the district. With the blessing and gratitude from the women folk, he further said, the police department succeeded in providing peaceful environment in the district.

People knows that the police has huge responsibility in such state, while the       role of the media is very encouraging one but people do not know that when somewhere a bomb is exploded, people run away from the blast site, the police and media persons are the one that enter the blast site without any hesitation or fear of the unwanted incident. So the blessing should be heaped equally upon the media and police personnel.

Among the guest of the Ningol Chak Kouba, secretary of Awang Kongpal Lup Anita said that Ningol Chakouba which have been described as the happiest day in the lives of married women throughout the year is an emontional moment.

The Imphal East District police organized such Ningol Chakouba for the to ensure that all married women in the district are not deprived of the joy of participating in Ningol-Chakouba.

Chanalembi said that police need good relationship and co-operation with the public adding that the district police should act as the saviour of the women and make a concrete resolution to fight the crime against women and child which is consistently occurring in the society.

In the occasion, many top official of the Imphal East District police along with SP Angam Kamei romanus, Addl SP Rajen (Ops), Addl SP (LO) Hussnejamal, and Officer-in-Charges of the various police stations were also present.
