IMPHAL, November 18: The United National Liberation Front, Manipur has said in a press release that the outfit is not related in any way to Ng Pingamba alias Chitrakumar, 31, son of Ng Irabot of Sagolband Tera Sapam Leikai, who, local dailies had reported based on a PRO IGAR (S) statement to be arrested on November 15 by a group of 30 Assam Rifles from Kairang.
The statement said that Chitrakumar had retired from the outfit since 2007; and further added the outfit has no connection with the 9MM pistol, plastic explosives and mobile phone which were reported to be seized from him.
