IMPHAL, January 28: A state cabinet meeting will be convened tomorrow at the cabinet hall of the chief minister’s Secretariat to discuss on crucial agendas concerning the department including summoning of the 7th Session of Tenth Manipur Legislative Assembly.
Sources informed the cabinet’s agenda is more focussed on the shortage of man powers being faced in various departments especially in Home departments and Directorate of Personnel.
It has been informed as the first agenda the meeting will discuss on feasibility for creation of 270 posts of Women Police Constable for 9 police stations (30 persons per police station), creation of 4 police outposts which included Chingkham O P and Oinam Sawombung O.P under under Lilong PS, Waithou O.P under Thoubal P.S and Sora Khunuda Ching O.P under Kakching P.S.
Moreover, creation of MCS-II for filling of four valley districts for posting to the BDO post, recruitment of section officers of engineering departments through MPSC and approval post of PCCF in the scale HAG+ in IFS, 251 staffs of Rastriya Bal Suraksha Kariyakram (RBSK) under NRHM on contract basis and appointment of 54 posts under NRHM on contract basis.
The sources further confided that the state cabinet held discussion on amendment of crucial bills like the Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms (sixth Amendment) Bill 2014 and amendment of Business of the Government of Manipur (Allocation) Rules, 2009. At the same time, review on implementation of Devolution of Powers to Autonomous District Councils (ADC) and Village Authorities, and Zilla Parishad, Panchayat and ADC’s.
Meanwhile, appointment of Government job to the International Awardee (Imagee Ningthem), Mount Everest climbers to suitable post in YAS, Khundrakpam Pradipkumar Singh (Mr World 2013 3rd position) were also amongst the agenda, added the source.
Other agendas included Payment of family pension to H Tondonbi Devi (petitioner) in respect of late Inaobi Singh, Ex-riflemen (9117 2nd Bn Manipur Rifles, allotment of additional Government Khas land to the airport expansion affected farmers, engagement of former Planning Commission Secretary, Sudha Pillai, IAS (Retd) to assist preparation for DPR for Land Use Policy in the hill and valley area for getting financial assistance from the Planning Commission, Proposal for payment of Family pension to contempt petitioner H (O) Ibempishak Devi wife of late H Nilo Singh, Ex-Workcharged Asst. Lineman, electricity Department, W.P No.82 of 2011 T.S.R Subramanian and others Union of India and others, implementation of Agriculture Producer Market Committee (APMC) Act to be introduced to the coming session for passing the Bill, enhancement of retirement age of lecturs of Aided Colleges and re-engagement of Ak Rajen Singh, UDA of Manipur Secretariat.
