IMPHAL, January 7: The Manipur NSS team comprising of 34 NSS volunteers including 17 girls and 17 boys representing different NSS units of Manipur University, colleges and higher secondary schools of Manipur had left Imphal on January 6, 2014 to take part in the north east NSS Festival to be held at Shillong during January 7-11, 2014.
According a press release, the team has been led by two NSS programme officers Ksh Rajlakshmi Devi, Programme Officer of Royal Academy of Law and L Vivekananda Singh, Programme Officer of Thangton Higher Secondary School, Saikul.
The team will take part in various programmes to be conducted during the festival such as Talk by eminent speakers/personalities, competitions in the field of HI VIA IDS, Culture, NSS, National Integration, Communal Harmony, Blood donation and a number of cultural and adventurous programmes, it said.
