IMPHAL, February 21: The dead bodies recovered from near the Indo-Myanmar Border Pillar No 62 at LH Zangnomphai village under Molcham PS around 1pm have been confirmed to be the two salesmen who had gone missing since February 11, after entering Myanmar.
Post mortem of the two bodies were conducted today in the presence of a duty magistrate under full video coverage at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, where the bodies were deposited yesterday.
The two have been identified as Satendar Singh alias Jacky, 30 of Uttar Pradesh and Daljeet Singh, 33, of Maharashtra.
Speaking to media persons, a family member of one of the two, said the families have identified the two following which the post mortem was conducted in the presence of duty magistrate Md Yasser Ahmad.
Later the dead body were handed over to family members after the post mortem this noon.
